Many people have already seen this as it was on the forum yesterday; we were sort of up in the air as to when to write about it but Jesse's own post came about first:

I will clear up any misconceptions about my departure from IPS since the Internet is one big rumor mill..

Yes-I have left Innerpartysystem, Why- because honestly, at this moment in time, I am not happy with my role in the band and have become unsatisifed and unmotivated. Friendships have not been lost or damaged, which is one of, if not the most important thing here.

Yes- I will be leaving for England in early April to get excited about music again, explore myself and my craft and to gain experience in the electronic music scene that is so alive and well there. I'll see you soon Bristol :)

That's about as clear cut of an answer i can give you. I appreciate everyone's support in my decision.

Meanwhile, things here at the IPS house have been moving along. New songs are progressing, new things are being built, neighbor's ears are not being spared. At all.

what?? granted i support his decision cuz im sure his music will turn out great but omg he was awesome i got 2 meet him 2wice n i swear jesse was the main reason i liked ips so much. great guy i wish him the best of luck! <3

well the fact that they r one of the best and most talented electro/rock bands around of course is what made me like them right off the bat. but also its rare 2 find a band that has members who r willing to come n talk 2 their fans regardless of weather/time n thats what jesse did everytime i saw ips.
